Tre settimane fa riportavamo il tragico conteggio apparso sui quotidiani nazionali (da lunedì 1 gennaio a sabato 8 dicembre 2007, sono morte sul lavoro 984 persone), in questi 21 giorni tanti altri lavoratori hanno perso la vita cercando di guadagnarsela.

Un numero altissimo di lavoratori è rimasto ferito e molti sono rimasti invalidi.

Tributando un ricordo ai caduti, esprimiamo solidarietà ai lavoratori rimasti invalidi, vicinanza e sostegno alle famiglie di tutti loro.

Non dimentichiamo lo sdegno che abbiamo provato nell'assistere impotenti a questa strage, non consideriamo le morti sul lavoro come un'ineluttabile evento di cronaca quotidiana.
"Basta con la strage" è stato scritto, diventi per tutti (lavoratori, aziende, sindacati, istituzioni, politica, nessuno escluso) un obbligo morale operare efficacemente in tal senso.
Questo è l'augurio per il prossimo anno.
